Dude, this is awesome. I recently discovered the BCP too, first through the app. I ordered a copy of the 1979 version, so I know there are some differences but the principle is the same. It’s all very fascinating and makes you think you’re so far behind. 😂 but thanks for writing this and introducing others to the value of guided prayer and reading!

It definitely has a lot to do with folks looking for some tradition and historic structure, I think.
